THE EARLY STONE AGE

According to records, the early Stone Age lasted from about 2 million years B.C to about 35,000 B.C. This age harbored mainly hunters and they gathered wild vegetation as their food.

But there is no evidence of their physical remains.

Here, culture such as Oldowan, Acheulian and Sangoan cultures was witnessed. They used stone and constructed hand axe. Also, Homo erectus and Homo sapiens (modern man) with heavy brows were seen then.
