The story of human development in Nigeria has to do with how man has tried to control and get used to different types of environments.
Thus, through human development, man has modernized his working tools depending on the period under study. Hence, we have the Stone Age and the Iron Age.
The Stone Age is in turn divided into the early stone age, the middle stone age and the late Stone Age. Hard stone such as granite, basalt and quartz were used by man during the Stone age.
