ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES AND INTER GROUP RELATIONS

Nigeria’s geographical entity encouraged a deal of interaction among its different people right from the origin.

Thus, before 1800, the economy of the Nigerian people was based mainly on agriculture and other related fields of human endeavour such as fishing, craft making among others.

Again, inter and intra community exchange of products was not left behind. By the 14th century; trade routes had linked from one area to another Hence, the result was constant traffic along the roads, waterways and desert zones.
