Allowing the introduction of Islam in Borno most of the Mais were Muslims who made positive contributions to the growth of Muslims. Again, the effects of Islam are:

  • It brought about education (Arabic and political) and a change of mode of dressing.
  • Ritual making, slaughtering of lambs, and fasting was introduced in the Hausa land by the Islamics.
