This is an association of all students in tertiary institutions
The student unions help to fight and protect the interest of students across all higher institutions.
In Nigerian this body is known as the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
This body sometimes stages demonstrations/protests to fight and protect the rights of students, especially in the areas of:
i. Good and comfortable hostel accommodation
ii. Affordable school fees,
iii. Unpopular government decisions, and
iv. Conducive learning environment et
