Legal Aid council of Nigeria

This council is a federal government establishment comprising public-spirited lawyers who give or render free legal aid in certain proceedings to persons with inadequate resources.

The legal aid council provides access to justice for the poor, oppressed and the less privileged who cannot afford the services of a legal practitioner.

They also keep records of persons who deliver: state-guaranteed legal aid and thus help to ensure that their clients get/receive the fairest possible judgement they deserve.
