Nigeria in her efforts to actualize UNO aims and objectives of promoting international friendship and co-operation has established embassies and commissions in many countries of the world.
Nigeria has also participated in the promotion and supervision of the activities of the specialized agencies of the United Nations like WHO projects on eradication of guinea worm, UNICEF programme on the reduction of infant mortality.
