Power resources are the harnessing of all the endowed natural resources for the generation of energy needed for both domestic and industrial use. The major sources of power in Nigeria are Petroleum, Water, Natural gas and Coal.
Power production can be classified into two namely:
thermal power plant and hydro-electric power e.g Kainji Dam.
