PARLIAMENTARY/CABINET SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT: This is a system of government where powers of government are shared between the Head of state and the Head of government. Under this system of government, the Head of state performs only ceremonial functions while the Head of government or cabinet performs the main executive functions. The Head of state is the Monarch, Queen, King etc. while the Head of government is the Prime Minister. Examples of Countries with this system of government are Britain, Italy, Canada, India etc.
