  1. STANDARD OF LIVING: If the cost of living of a particular place of works higher compared to other places, a worker might decide to move.
  2. BASIC AMENITIES: Where basic amenities are lacking in a particular place of work, a worker might decide to move whether on transfer or not.
  3. Existence of certain social and economic facilities such as schools, markets and hospitals may equally affect mobility of labour.
  4. High cost of transportation to a place of work might equally affect mobility of labour.
  5. Unfavourable climatic conditions can equally discourage a worker from moving to a better place.
