Electrodes are conductors through which current enters and leaves the electrolyte. We have two types of electrodes – Anode and Cathode.
ANODE – It is the positive electrode through which conventional current enters and leaves the electrolytic cells.
CATHODE – It is the negative electrode through which conventional current leaves and enters the electrolytic cell.
