Business Law

Business Law is a branch of civil law that provides rules and regulations for conducting business activities. It ensures fairness, prevents fraud, and protects the rights of all parties involved in business transactions.

Exam Tip: WAEC and NECO love asking about Nigerian agencies and their functions. Make a list of CAC, FCCPC, SEC, FIRS, NAFDAC, SON, CBN, and EFCC with their full names and main functions. Memorize this list – it appears in almost every Commerce exam. Also practice distinguishing between similar concepts like “statutory vs customary law” and “civil vs criminal law.”
