GOVERNMENT REGULATION OF BUSINESS

Government regulates business through many ways such as

  1. Copyrights: This is the sole right granted to authors, artists, musicians and dramatists to be the sole producers of their work.
  2. Registration of Business: This is a compulsory regulation the government uses to ensure that businesses are registered with either the Corporate Affairs Office or the Federal Ministry of Trade.
  3. Trade Marks – This is the name, mark, or symbol given to a particular product in order to distinguish it from other similar products;
  4. Patent – Is a certificate or legal right issued by the government to an inventor to be the sole producer of the product he has invented for a number of years.
