Soil Types

1. Zonal Soil:

This type of soil consists of temperate and tropical soils. Under temperate soil, we have Laterite soil, Red soil, Black soil, Desert soil etc. While under tropical soil, we have Pod soil,
Brown soil, Saline soil, Peat soil, Limestone soil etc.

2. Intra – Zonal Soils:

Are rocks found within zones.
E.g. peat soil, gley soil and terrarosa soil.

3. Azonal Soil:

Are immature and skeletal soil, which deposits alluvium and sands.
