The original PC keyboard had 83 keys and later between 84 and 88 keys.
The latest in keyboard design (standard keyboard is 10 1/102 keyboard that provides several additional features, extra function keys and a new keyboard layout.
The standard keyboard has the letter in the order of QWERTY layout.
Across the top of the keyboard are the function keys (labeled Fl through F10 or F12.)
The five types of keys on a keyboard are:
(i) Alphabetic keys
(ii) Control keys
(iii) Special character keys and Function keys (Fl, F2, — F10, F12).
