ACTION GROUP (AG): This party was founded in March 1951 by Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo with other members like S. G. Ikoko, Anthony Enahoro, Chief Thomas Bode, S. O. Sonibare etc. The Action Group party was formed from the conversion of the Egbe-Omo Oduduwa, a Yoruba Cultural organization founded in 1945 in London by some Yoruba students.
