HIV/AIDS can be transmitted through the following ways:
1. Sexual Intercourse
HIV/AIDS is primarily transmitted through unprotected sexual intercourse including anal and oral sex.
2. Blood Transfusion:
HIV/AIDS can also be transmitted through transfusion of HIV/AIDS contaminated blood especially when the blood is not properly screened.
3. Use of Sharp Objects:
HIV/AIDS can also be transmitted through cuts from sharp objects like needles, razor blades, clippers, knives etc.
4. Mother to Child:
HIV/AIDS is also transmitted from the mother to the foetus/baby during pregnancy, delivery or breastfeeding.
5. Injection:
HIV/AIDS is also transmitted through the injection of drugs.
