This is the load carried or transported by a river.
This load is undertaken in four ways:
By Traction: This occurs when large pieces of materials such as pebbles are bumped and rolled along the bed of a river.
By Solution: This occurs when certain minerals in water are dissolved by the flow of the water.
By Saltation: This occurs when the particles of river transportation move in series of jump along the bed of the river.
By Suspension: This occurs when small particles like slit and mud are swirled along the river in suspension.
