River Transporation

This is the load carried or transported by a river.

This load is undertaken in four ways:

By Traction: This occurs when large pieces of materials such as pebbles are bumped and rolled along the bed of a river.

By Solution: This occurs when certain minerals in water are dissolved by the flow of the water.

By Saltation: This occurs when the particles of river transportation move in series of jump along the bed of the river.

By Suspension: This occurs when small particles like slit and mud are swirled along the river in suspension.
