PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION: This is a system that allocates a number of seats in the legislature which is proportionate to the number of popular votes cast for that political party. In this system, the multi-member constituency is used. The party with the highest votes will have the largest number of seats while other parties will also have seats according to the strength of their votes.
