There are two forms of computer maintenance. These are
1. Hardware Maintenance
2. Software maintenance.
Hardware Maintenance is the maintenance of the mechanical, electrical and electronic parts of the computer. It involves all physical maintenance.
Software Maintenance: It is the maintenance, which deals with the maintenance of a set of programs, which runs on the hardware system. Software maintenance is sub-divided into two, namely:
- Program maintenance and
- Software integrally maintenance test. This ensures that the program functions effectively.
