a. Hard disk

• Every information of computer is embedded here
• It is an electronic device that circuit.

Floppy disk or diskettes

• It can be taken from one place to another.
• They are not residence in computer system
• It is very cheap to acquire.
• It comes in different sizes like the 51/4 inches and 31/2 inches

Compact disk (CD)

• It is used as secondary, storage medium.
• It stores information more than that of the floppy disk.
• It is the best because, it uses the laser technology.
• The information here cannot be changed because they are sealed. This is why they are called CDRQM.
